A course for PSP 7

This class will cover creating a new style of custom brushes based on new 'craft' rubber stamping techniques. The first lesson will cover creating your own brush... just a simple brush to make sure you know how to do it.. and creating brushes from images supplied by me. You will create a complete 3-D image from the brush set that you create.

The following weeks will cover: how to use various parts of the different sets of brushes to create other images... in full living color, how to search your old graphics disks for images you can use to create your own brushes.. and how to use them for everything from a simple image that could be used to create stationery, to special effects using these brushes, to how to use them to create a digitoil painting.

I won't promise you will be a Rembrandt when we finish this course, but you will be able to create a still life painting that you will be proud of that you can use for stationery, web images, etc.

Prerequisites: Jasc Paint Shop Pro (other graphics programs may be used if you know the program well. No technical support is available for other programs other than how to convert Paint Shop Pro brushes to Photoshop brushes and make them work. No technical support is available for MAC computers.) Students must have a very good working knowledge of their graphics program, including how to use layers, use the special effects that come with your programs including drop shadows, cut out effects, smudge, blur, etc.
