This is the third in a series of courses on scripting in Paint Shop Pro. This course builds on the skills begun in the Scripting1 course and continued in the Scripting2 course. The student will gain skill in using the "if-else" structure, learn how to use the Python return command, develop skill in using Python lists and tuples, and examine many more PSP commands and some handy scripts.

Prerequisites: Students must have completed the Paint Shop Pro Scripting 1 and Scripting 2 courses to take this course.
Requirements: Installed copy of Paint Shop Pro 8 or above. You can download a trial version of the current release at the Corel site HERE.
This course is now offered as self-study, and there is thus no instructor support. You do not need to turn in any assignments or post any homework. All of the course material is available for you to complete at your convenience. There is a classroom message board which you may use to communicate with other students who may be taking this class at the same time you are. Feel free to work through these lessons at your own pace....good luck and have fun!
Syllabus:
Week 1: Lesson13 - Continuing to expand skill with using the "if-else" structure, and introducing the return command.
Week 2: Lesson14 - Learning how to code and evaluate compound "if" statements, and learning how to perform mathematical calculations in scripts.
Week 3: Lesson 15 - Learning what Python lists and tuples are, and how to access data in lists and tuples.
Week 4: Lesson 16 - Examining and using the ReturnLayerProperties command, and introduction to the PSP Application Programmer's Interface (API) documentation.
Week 5: Lesson 17 - Examining and using the ReturnImageInfo command, and continuing to review the API documentation.
Week 6: Lesson18 - Examining and using the GetRasterSelectionRect command, and continuing to review the API documentation.
Bonus Lesson - Lesson19 - Examining several more PSP and Python commands, including GetVectorSeletionRect, ReturnVectorObjectProperties, PrettyPrinter, GetCommandInfo, SetMaterial, and SetMaterialStyle, and looking at some handy scripts, including CenterLayer, AutoTuber, DeTuber, Laminate, Delaminate, SimpleCaption, Thumbnail_150, GridMaker, PSP7PresetConverter, and ExploreConstants.
