Remote Perception Introduction
[272]
$30.00USD

Course Description
Remote perception is the mind's ability to perceive aspects of a target site that is very remote in terms of distance, obstructions and time. It is a wonderful, little known and not understood capability.

It employs an eyes open procedure that requires an hour or so of your time in a quiet location, a comfortable setting, a settled mind, a pen and some paper.
A good bit of practical exploration and application in remote perception was done by the US Government during the latter years of the Cold War. John, the instructor for this course was largely responsible for the initiation of the Army's initial analytical exploration of the phenomena. Later, after the Cold War ended, the CIA stopped using remote perception and declassified the related non-operational documents.

He feels that more people need to have the opportunity to experience this intriguing unique capability of the human mind. In order to do that, and to not compete with the several experienced remote viewers that are offering extensive remote viewing courses in other venues he decided to develop an on-line course within the LVS framework. A course presenting the basic procedures that are used in the remote perception community.

This course is to be a fun exercise in mental exploration. It presents a necessarily structured format that is in-line with that which was developed by the original developer of remote perception procedures, Ingo Swann. That remote perception process is one of increasing focus on the target and its characteristics. The lesson one procedure starts with perception of the overall gestalt of an uncomplicated target and the procedure builds through the succeeding lessons to a procedure for obtaining a somewhat detailed perception of a complex target in lesson six.

The class discussion board will be used to present the "address" of the remote target of the lesson on Monday mornings and on Thursday evenings to disclose the remote target. Students are encouraged to share their remote perception of the target-of-the-week on the class discussion board before that target's disclosure on Thursday evening.

Paraphrasing one researcher: Remote perception is a specific protocol whereby ones innate intuitive ability is utilized to obtain information beyond spatial and temporal barriers.

A Remote Perception Workshop/Studio is planned to be offered in a future session for those who have completed the introductory course.

Course Excerpt
LESSON 1

Telling someone how to do remote viewing is a little like trying to explain how to learn to see. There is little to tell, and we are the first to acknowledge that there is no secret. You learn to remote view by trial and error, getting feedback from the environment, in much the same way you learn to ride a bicycle.
Mind Reach, Russell Targ & Harold Puthoff, 1977

Remote perceiving is a wonderful ability of the human mind.

It is the ability to perceive aspects of a target site not immediately available to a person’s normal five sensory organs.

This course describes the basic procedures developed for the government more than 20 years ago which when followed most often result in a person perceiving aspects of a remote target.

Those involved with the government remote perception efforts use the term remote viewing (RV); however we prefer the more accurate term remote perception (RP) as did Princeton’s Robert Jahn. For the purposes of this course the two terms RP and RV are identical.

Belief in remote perception is not necessary, just a willingness to mentally explore remote targets with an open minded attitude to learning the remote perception procedures presented in this course are all that is necessary to experience remote perception.

About Remote Perceiving:
Some people have much greater perception abilities than others and some of them are willing to share their insights into the workings of their unique abilities. Ingo Swann is such a person. He worked with researchers Drs. Hal Puthoff and Russ Targ at SRI International in the 1970s and 80s exploring an apparent latent innate human ability to perceive things hidden from peoples normal senses. Out of those research efforts grew a field of applied extrasensory perception called remote viewing. Puthoff and Targ authored a 1976 IEEE accepted paper and the 1977 book titled Mind Reach describing their remote viewing findings.

When the curious and skeptical visited SRI to investigate remote viewing for themselves they were given a brief description of the process. But rather than showing the visitor a remote viewing trial Puthoff and Targ invited the visitor to try doing it themselves. It was reported that most of the reviewers who tried to remote view had some degree of success.

We don't know how remote perception occurs, but we do that it can be experienced through closely following the procedure laid out for US Military Intelligence Organizations in the 1980s. That procedure consists of a sequence unique stages. Each of those stages is presented separately in the sequence that is followed in the overall remote perception process.

Please note: Lessons provide step-by-step instructions with detailed screen captures.

Course Goals
The instructor does not claim that you will be able to remotely perceive after taking this course, but he will be very surprised if you don't remotely perceive at least a few aspects of the remote targets presented.

Course Reviews
Joanne:
"I thought it was an excellent class with excellent instruction. I was amazed at how you can have the ability to perceive a target by going through the various stages to get there."
